1. Tap the Pay or Request Button at the bottom of your screen.

2. Enter the Venmo username of the person you would like to request from.

3. Enter the amount you would like to receive. To add a memo, type it in the What’s it for? section underneath.

4. Tap the Request button at the bottom of your screen.

5. Once the person has approved your request, the money should appear in your Venmo balance.
